1 DAY. Pick up from the hotel in the morning and drive towards Fez. On the way, stop in Meknes for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, tour the city of Meknes, including passing by the Bab El Mansour Laalej gate and the Heri es-Souani monument. Departing for the onward journey. Arrival at the destination, check-in at the hotel in Fez, dinner and overnight.
DAY 2. Breakfast at the hotel and drive towards Fez. The first item on the agenda is a tour of Fes Jdid, one of the three parts of the city where most of the royal palaces, gardens and museums are located. Arrival at the hill where the Marynid Tombs are located. In addition to touring the remains of the tombs, enjoy an impressive panoramic view of Fez. Descend to the bus and transfer to a local Moroccan restaurant for lunch. After lunch, stroll through Fes El Bali, the oldest part of the city, full of a fascinating maze of streets, dead ends and souks. Next, visit the Bu Inania Medresa, a Quranic school built between 1350 and 1356 by the Marinid ruler Abu Inan Faris. Next points of interest are the Nejjarine fountain and the mausoleum of Mulay Idris. Return to the hotel, on the way enjoying the view of the Rif mountain range.
