Program Description

Majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious caves and picturesque mangrove forests – Phang Nga Bay is one of Thailand's most extraordinary destinations. During this excursion, you will discover the fascinating landscapes of the Andaman Sea, visit the famous James Bond Island, experience local traditions and explore unique places hidden among lush tropical nature.

Your adventure begins with a cruise on a traditional long-tail boat through scenic mangrove forests and a bay surrounded by impressive limestone formations. The highlight of the journey is the famous James Bond Island, featured in the film The Man with the Golden Gun. Its distinctive rock formation rising from the turquoise waters of the bay has become one of Thailand's most recognisable landmarks.

Next, board a canoe to explore the bay's hidden corners and remarkable caves. During this part of the excursion, you will admire fascinating rock formations, including stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the region's extraordinary natural beauty up close.

The next stop is Koh Panyee Village, a unique fishing settlement built on stilts above the shallow waters of the bay. Here, you will gain insight into the daily lives of the local sea-dwelling community and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, surrounded by the village's distinctive scenery.

After returning to the mainland, visit Wat Suwan Khuha Temple, also known as the Monkey Cave Temple. Inside the cave, you will find an impressive Reclining Buddha statue, while monkeys can often be spotted roaming freely around the temple grounds. This fascinating site combines Thailand's spiritual traditions with the extraordinary setting of a natural cave.

To round off the tour, stop at a picturesque waterfall surrounded by tropical vegetation. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of nature after a day filled with discoveries and unforgettable views.
