Program Description

Discover the diverse landscapes of Santorini on an excursion that combines panoramic views, historical sites and the island’s distinctive volcanic beaches. The programme includes both cultural landmarks and time to relax by the sea.

The first stop is Profitis Ilias, the highest point on Santorini. From here, you can enjoy sweeping views across the island, the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islets.

Next, you will visit Megalochori, one of Santorini’s most atmospheric villages. A walk through its narrow streets offers an insight into traditional architecture and a quieter side of island life.

The excursion then continues to the archaeological site of Akrotiri, considered one of the most important in Greece. This ancient settlement was buried during a volcanic eruption, helping to preserve many of its structures for centuries.

After the visit, there will be free time near the famous Red Beach, known for its striking red cliffs and volcanic scenery. You may choose to relax, admire the landscape or visit Akrotiri Bay, where local cafés and tavernas can be found.

The final stop is Perissa, a resort known for its long beach covered with black volcanic sand. There will be time for swimming, a walk along the coast or the opportunity to enjoy local specialities at one of the seaside tavernas.

The order of visits and the programme may change.
