Program Description

Transfer from hotels to Cairo. The excursion begins with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where you can see exhibits such as massive statue of Ramesses II, standing in the museum’s entrance atrium, treasures of King Tutankhamun, including a gold coffin consisting of 110 kilograms of gold and the Solar Boat of Khufu: a 4,600-year-old funerary cedar-and-acacia boat, believed to carry Pharaoh Khufu’s soul in the afterlife. Lunch at a local restaurant. A visit to the site of Pyramids, optional camel or horse ride, followed by a stop at the Sphinx. Optional visit to the Pyramids (charged extra). The tour includes a visit to local stores. Return to hotels.

A visa is required to join the tour. It can be purchased upon arrival at Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) Airport.

The trip was okay, although tiring. :) More time at the museum would have been helpful.

The driver made terribly frequent stupid breaks because of which we spent over 20 hours on the coach! The trip also included plans for a cruise on the Nile, time in the museum and on the pyr...

The trip itself was very well led by guide Henryk, who spoke excellent Polish and talked about the places visited in a very interesting way. A huge minus for the organization before the trip...
