Program Description

Want to see where the iconic James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun” was filmed? Add to that spectacular nature and the unique atmosphere of southern Thailand, and you get the perfect excursion!

In the morning, you’ll head toward Phang Nga Bay, often called the “Little Ha Long” of Thailand. Here, you’ll see dramatic limestone cliffs rising vertically from turquoise waters, creating one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the region.

You’ll board a traditional long-tail boat for a cruise to the area around Koh Tapu - the famous filming location of the James Bond movie. This is where you’ll take your own “movie shot” with the iconic rock pinnacle. The surrounding nature is just as impressive: rugged limestone formations sculpted over thousands of years by wind and water.

Your next stop is Koh Panyee, a floating village built on stilts by Muslim fishermen. Its narrow walkways, local stalls and tightly clustered wooden houses create an atmosphere found only here. A stroll through the village will give you a glimpse into the daily life of the local community.

Then you’ll switch to a kayak steered by a local guide and paddle through mangroves, hidden lagoons and sea caves. This peaceful and scenic route lets you experience the natural beauty of Phang Nga Bay even more closely.

At the end of the excursion, you’ll visit the Buddha Temple, a serene place surrounded by lush greenery and spiritual calm. It’s the perfect moment to unwind before heading back. Important: modest clothing is required - everyone must cover their shoulders and wear trousers or a skirt/dress below the knee.

After the visit, return to the pier and transfer back to your hotel.

The order of sightseeing and the program may change.
