Program Description

Pick up from hotels and transfer to Malbork. The trip starts with a visit with an audioguide to medieval castle. It was built in the 13th century as the Knights of the Teutonic Order’s headquarters. The castle is the biggest castle complex in Europe and is also the biggest brick construction in history. Inside the complex you will see the Courtyard, the Cloisters of the High Castle, the Summer Refectory and the Palace of Grand Master. The complex is listed on UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.  Lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to Gdańsk and guided tour in the city. The tour programme includes the Main City (Głowne Miasto) area, richly decorated Golden Gate will lead you to the Long Market or The Artus Court- a former meeting place of merchants and a centre of social life, whose hayday falls into the 16th and 17th century. In the end you will visit the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the largest brick church in the world. Departure to Warsaw and return to hotels.

This excursion is organized on private basis for small groups of 2 - 8 participants.
