Program Description

Pick up from hotels in Warsaw and transfer to Oświęcim. First, you will visit Auchwitz Nazi Concentration Camp and then Birkenau Camp located 3km away from Auschwitz. Auschwitz has become a primary symbol of the Holocaust. It was a network of concentration and extermination camps built and operated by the Third Reich in Polish areas annexed by Nazi Germany during World War II. It is proof of cruel terror and unimaginable genocide. Original fences, wooden watchtowers, and railway ramps have been preserved. The museum exhibition contains original documents, suitcases, shoes, and other belongings of murdered prisoners. The visit also includes a short ride to Birkenau camp, which functioned as a war camp, extermination camp, and place from where people were sent to labor in Nazi Germany. Birkenau was mostly destroyed by the retreating Germans. Lunch break. Next, visit to Krakow and sightseeing with a local guide. In the program among others Krakow Old Town, The Main Market Square, Sukiennice (Cloth Hall). Afterwards, departure to Warsaw and return to hotels.
