Program Description

Transfer to Pieskowa Skała, a fortified Renaissance castle. This royal residence, considered by many to be even more beautiful than Wawel, is located in a rock complex atop a limestone hill in the Ojcow National Park. It was built in the 14th century as part of a chain of defensive castles known as the Eagles' Nests. Walk through the castle gardens. Opportunity to see the Mace of Hercules, a 25-meter limestone column. Visit to the ruins of Ojcow Castle overlooking the countryside in Ojcow National Park, which together with Pieskowa Skała is part of the system of 25 castles on the Eagles' Nests Trail. Return to Cracow.
