This half day city tour leads you through Salalah, the biggest city in Dhofar, also called the “ perfume capital of Arabia’’. The journey starts with passing by Al Nahdha Tower, later visit Sultan Qaboos Mosque (please adhere to the dress code), and continue for photo stop by Sultan Qaboos Palace. Later on, continue to Haffa souq (frankincense market) with half an hour stop. After the souq you will visit a private traditional Omani plantation, where you can enjoy a delightful fruit-tasting experience, sampling the freshest produce straight from the farm. This immersive experience offers a unique glimpse into the rich agricultural traditions of Oman, highlighting the importance of sustainable farming practices in the region. On the way back, stopover 45 minutes in Grand Mall.
During Ramadan, the mosque is only visited from the outside. Pickup times and the excursion program during Ramadan are subject to change.
Consumption of food and drinks in open and non-designated areas is to be avoided. During the tour, clothing must cover shoulders, upper arms, and knees. Tight or revealing outfits are not recommended.
