What to expect
A visit to the Dendera complex, located north of Luxor. In antiquity, it was the site of the cult of the goddess Hathor. The temple with its impressive reliefs, column hall and sanctuary is the best-preserved monument in the area to this day. Next, the program includes a drive to Luxor, a horse-drawn carriage ride through the city, and then a visit to the Luxor Temple. Later, a visit to the papyrus gallery, lunch and a cruise on the Nile to Banana Island - one of the islands with a banana plantation.
