This excursion to Cairo is a genuine encounter with ancient history that has fascinated the world for thousands of years. We’ll begin with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to unique artefacts including the golden mask of Tutankhamun, royal sarcophagi, and priceless treasures of the pharaohs.
Next comes a sight you will never forget – the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Built more than 4,500 years ago as tombs for the pharaohs, they continue to amaze with their precision and monumental scale. Nearby stands the Great Sphinx, the mysterious guardian of the desert, whose enigmatic face has stirred the imagination of travellers for centuries.
During the day, lunch will be served at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to a perfumery where you can discover fascinating scents. Those who wish may also participate in an optional relaxing boat ride on the Nile, a perfect opportunity to see Cairo from a different perspective.
